After months of hard work and dedication, it is exciting to announce that the East Noble Cyber Knights have progressed to the National Championship for Girls Go CyberStart 2020! Girls Go CyberStart is a fun and interactive online competition composed of digital challenges to introduce high school girls to cybersecurity. Girls complete a set of interactive challenges that represent realistic scenarios and threats faced by practitioners in the field of cybersecurity. Along the way they learn to use tools such as Linux Terminal, BitLocker, Wireshark, HTML, XSS cross-site scripting, SQL injections, Binary and Hexadecimal code, Cryptography and Steganography, and much more. Our EN Cyber Knights are McKenna Arnett, Lori Strong, Payton Booth, and Keeley Vaught! They will be competing in the online National Championship on May 20th-21st. Thank you Mrs. Joest for your amazing leadership and guidance as our computer science teacher.

Today, Dr. McCormick and Gov. Holcomb made a historic decision to close school facilities until the end of the school year. This means we will continue eLearning three days per week to fulfill the school day requirement. We realize this is challenging for everyone; however, the safety of our students and community must be a primary concern. I realize you must have many questions and, unfortunately, I do not have answers yet. We will continue with the current plan of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday eLearning days. Expect an update from me late Monday (April 6) that will provide you with additional details. Thank you for your patience. We will get through this, one day at a time. Ann Linson, Superintendent
