East Noble School Corporation supports children with hearing impairments through programming that ensures success in the school environment. The inclusive setting provides a wide range of academic and specialized programs. Attending school with hearing peers gives opportunities to develop age appropriate communication and social skills.
Methods of communication are different for each child. Students may use a combination of speech, residual hearing, speech reading, Signed English and/or American Sign Language. Recommendations for communication methods are made with the parent at the annual conference.
