This holiday season, the students at South Side Elementary were in for a magical surprise! Santa Claus himself made a special stop at the school, spreading festive cheer and holiday spirit. As the jolly man in red walked through the doors, the children's faces lit up with excitement. Santa took the time to chat with the kids, and listened to their Christmas wishes. It was a joyful visit that brought smiles and laughter, creating unforgettable memories for everyone at South Side.

Today, East Noble Middle School 6th graders embarked on an exciting and educational series of experiments with the science teachers, testing the resilience of gingerbread houses against natural disasters! In this hands-on project, students built gingerbread houses and subjected them to various simulated natural disasters such as tornado (with a leaf blower), hurricane (with a power washer), and wildfires (supplied by the Kendallville Fire Department). The goal was to observe how these common calamities could affect the stability of their gingerbread creations. The experiments offered a fun, interactive way for students to apply scientific principles like structural integrity and engineering, all while enjoying the holiday season!

This morning, East Noble Middle School was the first, and very early stop on Santa's delivery route before he had to hurry on his way back to the North Pole in time for his final preparations for Christmas Day! He had a trolly full of delicious goodies, sweets and prizes that staff members spun a wheel to see what they would receive. One of his friendly reindeer also joined him from the North Pole and helped deliver holiday cheer to the Middle School!
