Morgan Hannon’s Advanced FACS students at East Noble High School put the finishing touches on a sweet collaboration today, bringing the cupcake designs created by Anita Zollar’s preschoolers at Avilla Elementary School to life!
After listening to the preschoolers’ ideas last week, the FACS students put their creativity and skills to work, turning each young designer’s vision into a finished cupcake. It was a great hands-on learning experience that showed the value of listening, collaborating, and bringing someone else’s ideas to life. What the preschoolers don't know is that they will be delivering them personally tomorrow as a special surprise!

From music and theatre to visual arts, color guard and more, the arts give our students meaningful opportunities to create, perform and discover their own unique voices. What a night for the Marching Knights!

Today, Cody Wait's East Noble High School College and Careers students continued building their Rube Goldberg machines, learning that even the smallest part of a job can play an important role in the bigger picture. As they design, collaborate, and problem-solve together, students are seeing firsthand how every function has a purpose and how success depends on each person doing their part.
Today, East Noble Middle School's P.E. classes honored the life and legacy of Welles Crowther, known as "The Man in the Red Bandana," a stock trader who worked on the 104th floor of the South Tower. On September 11th, 2001, Crowther gave his life while helping others escape the collapsing tower, becoming a powerful example of courage and selflessness.
Students wore red bandanas in his memory and completed 9 sets of stair runs for the month, 11 crunches and/or pushups for the day, and 18 jumping jacks representing the 18 people Crowther is credited with saving. More than just a physical activity, today was an opportunity to remember those who were lost, honor those who showed extraordinary courage, and help a new generation understand the significance of September 11th.
A special thank-you to the City of Kendallville Fire Department for joining our students and helping make this meaningful day of remembrance and learning possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community to remember, honor, and never forget.

Last evening, Rome City Elementary was filled with special moments as students welcomed their grandparents and special someones to school for a night of fun. From activities throughout the school to simply spending time side by side, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people who make such a meaningful difference in our students’ lives.
25 years later, we pause to remember September 11th, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day. We honor those we lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the countless heroes who showed courage and compassion when our country needed it most. Today, we remember, we honor, and we will never forget.

Come dressed in black and join us as we fill the stands, have the opportunity to see a Black Hawk helicopter before the game, enjoy a special pregame flyover, and take time to recognize and honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

The Silent Knights, East Noble Middle School’s Book Club, are proudly lending a hand to a beloved Kendallville tradition as they work hard creating buttons for the 40th Anniversary of the Apple Festival of Kendallville!

Today, East Noble High School students had a fantastic opportunity to explore life after high school at East Noble’s College Fair! More than 40 colleges and universities from Indiana and beyond filled the gym, giving students the chance to connect with college representatives, ask questions, and discover possibilities for their future. We’re grateful to all of the schools who joined us and helped our Knights take an important step toward the next chapter in their lives.
Students in Mr. Bennett’s Social Studies classes at East Noble Middle School brought history to life on Friday during their Native Americans Project Gallery Walk.
Students showcased a variety of projects, including food, tools, homes, models, and other items, while sharing what they learned through a written explanation of their work. The gallery walk also gave students the opportunity to learn from one another, ask questions, and discuss their projects with their peers.

This morning, Avilla Elementary School kicked off another exciting Panther Pride celebration, their first of the year.
It was a special one as members of the East Noble High School football team joined the Panthers to share an important message about being a great teammate and showing leadership both on the field and in the classroom. From fun games and high-fives to encouraging conversations and plenty of smiles, our students enjoyed a special visit from some great role models.
A big thank you to Assistant Coach Sible and the East Noble football team for taking the time to encourage and inspire the Panthers! And, of course, thank you to the amazing Avilla teachers and staff working behind the scenes to make Panther Pride celebrations like this possible.

Mini Cheer Camp is open to Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary and Wayne Center Elementary School students in Kindergarten through 5th grade and is a great opportunity for young cheerleaders to learn, have fun, and be part of the football season.
Registration is due September 4th. Payment may be made by cash or check and can be delivered to your student’s elementary school or dropped off at the East Noble High School main office. Please see the attached flyer for registration details and additional information.

It was a meaningful Friday at Rome City Elementary.
It was Bike Safety Day, and students learned about the importance of bike safety and protecting themselves while riding, with EVERY student receiving a helmet to take home and 14 students receiving new bikes. A special thank you to Activate Noble County and Pedals of Hope for helping make this experience possible and giving students the tools to ride safely. The day also included the induction of new Romans into their Squads, welcoming students and staff, including ENSC Superintendent Mr. Vore, into this special school tradition.

Starting today, August 23rd, is National Speech Pathology Week, and we’re celebrating the incredible Speech Pathologists across East Noble School Corporation who help Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School and East Noble High School students find their voice, build confidence, and communicate with greater independence.
