Avilla Families, Retake Picture Day is 10/11/2023! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required. If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook. Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 78603ZF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account. We had over $700 come in just today for our Walk A Thon fundraiser! This is AMAZING. Please have all collected money turned in by next Thursday, September 28.

Avilla Families, Tomorrow is our big day! Our fundraiser walk-a-thon will be happening during school hours. Be on the look out for a certificate with how many laps your child completes, as they will bring this home from school tomorrow. The course is around our football field, so approximately 1/4 mile per lap. Each student in grades K-5 will be walking or running for 30 minutes with their grade level. No money is due until after our event, unless you'd like to send in flat rate donations tomorrow. We ask that all donations arrive at school no later than Thursday, September 28. If your child needs a new pledge form please contact their teacher to send one home. Please consider sending in a water bottle tomorrow and making sure your child has appropriate shoes. Go Panthers! Grandparents Day will be celebrated on Friday, September 15 this year. We will welcome visitors for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades from 9:00 to 9:45 am and 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades from 9:45 to 10:30. Preschool will hold a separate Grandparents' Day on May 13. More information will be shared this spring.

We're just two weeks from our first Walk A Thon fundraiser! The top earning class in grades PreK-2 and grades 3-5 will earn their choice of a donut, ice cream, or pizza party. Be sure to collect those pledges! Students will bring home a certificate of completed laps so you can collect the pledge money after our event. Each lap is around a standard sized football field. Each student will have 30 minutes of time to walk or run. Preschool is modified and will share that information on Seesaw.
