Senior Ettore Bona leaves behind one of the most accomplished careers in East Noble tennis history. After a freshman season playing #2 Singles under his brother Vittorio, he spent the next three years anchoring the lineup at #1 Singles, facing the best player every team had to offer. He compiled an 85-16 career record and a 72-10 #1 Singles record, placing him second in school history in both categories. Along the way, he earned 4 All-Conference honors, 3 All-State honors (including 2nd Team as a junior, and 1st Team as a senior), and was KPC prep of the year three times. He captured 4 Invitational Singles Titles (3x DeKalb, 1x Warsaw), 2 Team Sectional Titles, 3 Individual Sectional Titles, and 1 Individual Regional Title. In his senior season, he compiled a 24-2 record, was selected for the All-Star team, and represented East Noble at the IHSAA State Finals among the top six singles players in Indiana.
