East Noble Academy (ENA) is a focused, student-centered extension of East Noble High School, located just 2 miles northeast of the high school. Our purpose is simple: provide students with an intervention that allows them to catch up on credits and return to the high school full time. Whether a student needs credit recovery, a smaller environment, or a fresh start, ENA offers a personalized path forward.
At ENA, your child won’t be just another face in the crowd. We believe every student deserves to be SEEN, KNOWN, & VALUED — and we build real relationships to make that happen. Our staff understands that each student brings a different story, and we work hard to meet them where they are while helping them move forward.
How It Works
Students are enrolled through East Noble High School. ENA serves as an alternative school designed to meet specific academic and behavioral needs.
Most students attend one in-person class per trimester. These are high-impact, practical courses like Personal Finance (Seniors only), Adult Roles and Responsibilities, and Preparing for College & Careers.
The rest of the day is focused on credit recovery. Coursework is completed using the Edgenuity online platform, with staff support available on-site.
Students attend either an AM or PM session. The other portion of their day is spent at East Noble High School.
Transportation is provided. Students ride an ENHS transfer bus to and from the high school daily. Student drivers park at ENHS and ride the transfer bus to ENA.
Students are expected to earn at least 3 credits per trimester and maintain 70% or higher in all courses.
Students must maintain passing grades in their high school classes. ENA staff will support students in keeping up with ENHS coursework so they don’t fall further behind.
What to Expect
A quiet, structured setting. ENA is not a punishment — it’s an opportunity for students who want to get back on track without distractions.
Small class sizes. The state of Indiana mandates a low teacher-to-student ratio to allow for individualized attention.
Accountability and independence. Edgenuity is self-paced, so students must manage their time, meet weekly goals, and follow their graduation plan.
Ongoing connection to East Noble High School. Students continue to receive support from ENHS counselors and can access events, credits, and services.
Our Locally Created Pathway (LCP)
In addition to credit recovery and core academics, ENA also offers a unique, hands-on graduation path designed just for our students.
East Noble Academy is proud to offer a Locally Created Pathway called Evolution Towards Employability, approved by the Indiana Department of Education. This pathway gives students a meaningful and practical route to graduation — focused on real-world skills, job readiness, and life after high school.
Students in this pathway complete a sequence of courses and experiences designed to build confidence, responsibility, and workplace awareness — all supported by strong partnerships with local employers, service agencies, and workforce training programs across Noble County. These include groups like Freedom Academy, Local 166, and Pre-ETS, as well as guest speakers and mentors from healthcare, skilled trades, and public service.
Personal Finance (Trimester 1, seniors only)
Adult Roles & Responsibilities (Trimester 2)
Preparing for College & Careers (Trimester 3)
Internship (Two trimesters, work-based learning experience)
These classes are not just about credit — they include guest speakers, field trips, mentorship, kitchen-based learning, and services that help students explore their options and set real-world goals.
By completing this pathway and maintaining success in their other courses, students at ENA remain on track to graduate from East Noble High School with a full Core 40 diploma and a stronger foundation for what comes next — whether that’s college, a career, or something in between.
