Redefining Ready! at East Noble School Corporation
East Noble School Corporation will reach their three goals through the lens of preparing students to be college, career, and life ready by adapting the AASA Redefining Ready! framework which includes multiple research - based metrics and Indiana Graduation requirements.
Upon high school graduation, students will be prepared to successfully pursue their personal goals by being college ready, career ready, and life ready. A standardized test should not define a student nor does a test score represent a student' s potential, passion, or skill level. Students need to be engaged in relevant curriculum and opportunities that allow them to develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and communication. It is also critical that students develop personal attributes such as responsibility, respect, empathy, perseverance and other traits that contribute to life readiness.
Guiding Essential Question for District Decisions:
How will an investment of time and/or funding contribute to student success based on our Redefining Ready! philosophy to ensure all students are college, career, and life ready?
