Kendallville's Annual Light the Night Walk at East Noble High School

The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) nationwide two-to three-mile evening walk to celebrate cancer survivorship and commemorate those lives touched by cancer. Friends and family carry red illuminated balloons; cancer patients and survivors carry white illuminated balloons; teams walking in memory carry a gold illuminated balloon. Funds raised support the LLS's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

In addition to team fundraising, there are various sponsorship and balloon sales opportunities available. Business participation in our communities where Light The Night is held is not only important, but key. Together, we will move one step closer toward finding a cure for blood cancers.

This year’s Kendallville Light The Night Walk is Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at East Noble High School. However you choose to participate, Light The Night will be an experience you will not forget. If you have any questions, please contact Kate Butler at 260-435-2525, Mark Cockroft at 260-347-2032 or Nancy Flint-Shambaugh at 260-894-3529. Register now!
